Meet Tanya

Education & Skills

Tanya is a dedicated professional who has had a successful private psychotherapy practice for over 25 years. She holds a Master's degree in Social Work from CSULB, and a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, from UCLA. Tanya is also licensed by the Board of Behavioral Sciences and is a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists.

Before opening her private practice, Tanya held the positions: Director of Bereavement for a large hospice organization, and Supervisor for a Child and Family Center. Additionally Tanya worked as a Licensed, Clinical Social Worker for well known hospitals in the San Fernando Valley, and she helped provide Critical Incident Response to companies in South Orange County communities.

Tanya's areas of expertise include: anxiety, attachment issues, bereavement, depression, grief (including divorce, loss of relationship, loss of job, miscarriage), and OCD.

 

Through her empathetic humanistic approach,  Tanya helps her clients to move through the grief process feeling supported, and she teaches CBT and DBT techniques (including relaxation exercises, prayer and meditation) to help her clients to decrease anxiety and depression. ERP is taught to clients who are struggling with OCD.  Through providing psychoeducation regarding attachment styles and teaching communication skills, Tanya has been able to help thousands of clients improve their relationships with family members, partners and spouses.

Individual Sessions: $150
Couple's and Family Sessions: $175

Telehealth sessions are available for adolescents and adults. Insurance is accepted.
In-Person sessions are available for children, adolescents and adults. Insurance is not accepted. 


Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30.
